Last night, Los Angeles based producer Jasper Patterson (AKA Groundislava) took to his Bandcamp page to giveaway an 11-track mixtape of both old and new remixes, for free. WeDidIt’s Groundislava takes on Drake, Shlohmo, Miguel, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and even Katy Perry. On top of this release which the LA native has kindly released on a ‘pay-what-you-want’ basis, Groundislava is set to tour the US and Canada from the 16th of May – check the dates for that here.

Maybach Music Group’s newest recruit is set to release his debut album later this year, but right now he’s getting the hype train going.

Last night on BBC Radio 1 marked a rather momentous occasion in the career of Bromance Records kingpin Brodinski. The Frenchman kicked off his monthly In New DJ’s We Trust slot from 9PM (he’s on the same rota as Salva, Monki and Jackmaster) and as expected, it was a real showcase of everything from rap to techno. It’s rare that you’d find Beat King and Laurent Garnier on the same radio show, but this is why In New DJ’s We Trust hired him. Stream the set below.
